Break Open The Word 2012

The classic book that does exactly what the title says.  It breaks open the Sunday scriptures for the upcoming liturgical year. This book is designed for those who proclaim the Scriptures at Sunday Mass. The readings are given in two translations: the Jerusalem and the NRSV for a comparison. For each reading and the psalm, there is a commentary which gives a little background to the text and assists the reader to proclaim the text well.
